December Update

It's almost 2025 and at the same time, Logic & Lore is almost complete!
There was a mistake made with manufacturing and they need another few weeks to fix it, then everything will be ready to start heading out shortly after that!
Due to this, I'm keeping the pledge manager open until January 15th.
If you are a retailer, I should be sending out information shortly!
CHECK THIS OUT! We got a video of the final manufactured version with the updated silver foil!
This is my first time working with foil and I'm so excited for it! The proof copy I have is great, but the final copy will be even better.
In Closing
Shipping should start in February or March. The pledge manager will now close on January 15th so please fill out your pledge manager as soon as possible so all the numbers can get in and things can be shipped appropriately!

Pledge Manager & Surveys

Pledge Manager
The pledge manager has been sent out to everyone, except for the Friendly Local Gamestores tier. The plan is to send out emails to everyone in that tier in the next two weeks and you'll have your surveys at that point.
You should have received an email with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can so we can fulfill your rewards. We plan to close the pledge manager on December 15th so we can move on to shipping games once we have everything from the manufacturer.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on the BackerKit project page at https://logicandlore.backerkit.com/.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https://logicandlore.backerkit.com/faq.

Print and Play
The print and play needed a few minor fixes and should be ready in the next week if all goes well! It will be sent out when it is complete.
Reef & Ruins
Reef & Ruins is on Kickstarter and only has a few days left! It's the next game in the Wicked & Wise series of games. Instead of dragons and mice, there's hydras and otters!
Reef & Ruins is a roll and write game with satisfying combos and crunchy yet approachable spatial puzzles. Use dice representing a three-headed Hydra who teams up with otters to search ruins, gain and enchant treasures, and reap the benefits of the reef to be the best treasure hunters of the seven seas.
Wicked & Wise is also getting an expansion and deluxe edition! Wicked & Wise is a team based, asymmetrical trick taking game where dragons are playing the tricks, while the mice are manipulating them.
In Closing
If all goes well, we're pushing for shipping to start near the end of December or January. The pledge manager will close December 15th so please fill out your pledge manager as soon as possible so all the numbers can get in and things can be shipped appropriately!

Pledge Manager
I have sent out the smoke test of the pledge manager, which means that about 5% of you will get surveys and I'll make sure everything is going well and as expected, then the rest of you will get a survey once that's been determined.
Soon, you’ll receive an email with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since I need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before I close the surveys and get the final counts.

October Update

Proof Copy
The proof copy of everything arrived last month. We hope you are as excited as we are for what the final copies will look like!
The surprise that was alluded to in some previous updates is the foil on the cards and box! It's super shiny! However, it was more difficult than anticipated to make happen, plus it added a good amount of fixes that were needed.
Above, you can see the foil is gold and it's not great to see on some of the cards. Instead, we're going to go with silver foil! Silver should help it pop, and it represents the an even hotter star in the sky forming the constellations. Dragons hoard silver in addition to gold, so it's still in line with the histories as well.
In Process
We have the fixes in, I'm waiting on manufacturing to approve of them, then the manufacturing of all the games will begin!
The pledge manager is also in the works and we plan to have that out in the next week or so! When the pledge manager is sent out, the print and play will be included with that, so watch you emails to make sure it's not lost to the black of hole of your spam folder.

Sorry for the late update! There were communication issues, GenCon, COVID, and migraines, but hopefully all those are in the past now! Thanks to everyone who stopped by and said hi at GenCon at the beginning of August, it was our best convention yet! The unfortunate reality of conventions is that con-crud is still prevalent; Carla came down with COVID and Justin dealt with some mystery crud after returning, putting a damper on progress. Add in issues with having to wait on communication with our manufacturer as it's a busy time of year for them, and the progress in August went a lot slower than we wanted. The good news is the team is on the mend health wise and we've heard back from manufacturing.
Manufacturing
The proof copy is on it's way! I should get it this week or next, then I'll have pictures and I'll be able to identify if any updates are needed.
If no updates are needed, manufacturing could start by the end of the month, which means that shipping to our warehouse has a chance to start in November. If there are any changes needing to be made, that will most likely delay manufacturing, but we'll see what the status is once the proof copy is in to check over all the details.
Pledge Manager & Print and Play
Both of these were delayed, but are in the works. The pledge manager should be out by the end of September along with the Print and Play. I try to not release the pledge manager too early simply to reduce the amount of address changes. It's always more than I think, even with releasing close to shipping, but everyone moves at some point! We also plan to have the Print and Play artwork match the manufacturing artwork, so verifying the proof copy for issues will dictate the timing of it's release.
